About Me

If you've found your way here, you're probably looking for answers. Maybe you eat well (mostly), stay active, and care about your health, but something still feels off. Maybe it's memory lapses, a lack of focus, or the fear that you might face the same decline you saw in a loved one.

I understand that fear, and I also know how empowering it is to take action and feel more in control of your future health.

Why This Matters to You

You want someone who truly understands what you're going through. You need evidence-based strategies, not generic advice that leaves you more confused than before. Most importantly, you want to feel confident that the path you're taking will actually make a difference to your long-term cognitive health.

You deserve to work with someone who's walked this journey themselves - who understands the frustration of being told 'everything's fine' when you know something feels off, the determination that comes with wanting to protect your family's health, and the relief of finally finding approaches that work.

My approach addresses the root causes that matter to your brain health - inflammation, blood sugar balance, gut health, and nutrient deficiencies. You'll get strategies that are entirely tailored to your life, your symptoms, and your goals, not one-size-fits-all recommendations.

Why I Understand Your Journey

Like you, I've experienced the frustration of feeling "not quite right" despite test results being "fine". I grew up in the 80s and 90s eating the heavily processed, low-fat diet that was considered healthy then, assuming that if I got ill in the future, there would be a pill to fix it.

Like many parents, when my eldest son was diagnosed with autism, I became determined to understand how nutrition could support his cognitive development. This research didn't just help him, it transformed my own understanding of how food affects brain function, mood, energy, and immunity. I realised that my "normal" way of feeling wasn't actually normal at all.

This personal journey led me to retrain at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition, where I graduated with Distinction. Throughout my practice, whether supporting gut health or helping active people achieve their performance goals, there's always been a thread of cognitive health running through my work.

Living with my own ADHD and supporting neurodivergent children has given me deep insight into how the brain works and what it needs to thrive. My heart has always been in brain health. It's where my personal experience, professional training, and passion converge.

What This Means for You

Whether you're noticing changes in focus or memory, working alongside medical care, or wanting to support your brain health proactively, you'll have a clear, evidence-based path forward that makes sense for your life.

You'll work with someone who's grounded in functional medicine principles but speaks in plain English. Someone who believes that clarity, focus, and vitality don't have to fade with timE. Someone who has the personal and professional experience to guide you towards that goal.

Most importantly, you'll feel heard, supported, and finally on a path that makes sense.
